The Noale manufacturer, Aprilia, is facing an intriguing internal dilemma for the remainder of the season following their stellar performance in Indonesia. Despite a weekend initially marked by tension between the factory squad and the Trackhouse team, the RS-GP26 proved to be overwhelmingly dominant on the track.
This impressive performance resulted in a historic lockout of the top four positions by Aprilia machines, yet the championship battle among their riders has become increasingly complex. Jorge Martin, who leads the standings with a 46-point advantage, had to settle for third place, while his closest title rival capitalized on the opportunity.
Meanwhile, Marco Bezzecchi secured the race victory and successfully chipped away at the championship lead. The competitiveness of the satellite bikes has unexpectedly created an additional challenge for the factory riders as the season heads into its final crucial rounds.

Addressing this critical situation, Aprilia Technical Director Fabiano Sterlacchini strongly hinted at the potential implementation of team orders in the near future. According to him, the management in Noale will allow another race or two before enforcing strict team strategies.
"By definition all riders must be selfish and everyone has their own goals," Sterlacchini told Sky Sport MotoGP. "Clearly you have to do the math: there are conflicting interests and they must be managed. However, you reach a point where you have to give weight to these objectives and we know what the main weight is."
