Brodie Kostecki has once again captured the motorsport world's attention through a unique piece of memorabilia from his dramatic on-track celebrations. The damaged left-rear wheel and Dunlop tyre from his memorable post-race burnout at the Townsville 500 has officially been put up for auction at the upcoming PPQ Legends Night.
Kostecki's dominant victory back in July was capped off in spectacular style when he famously scraped the concrete wall during a celebratory burnout at the rear of the circuit. The daring maneuver drew massive cheers from the grandstands, echoing a similar legendary stunt pulled off by Will Davison back in 2013.
The battle-scarred wheel and tyre package has now been signed by the reigning Bathurst 1000 winner alongside team owner Dick Johnson to raise vital funds for Motorsport Ministries, an organisation providing critical trackside care and support to competitors and teams across the Australian motorsport community.

"It was certainly a very special day," Kostecki reflected on the unforgettable outing. He noted that the item comes complete with documentary photographs, making it an extraordinary display piece for any dedicated motorsport enthusiast's collection.
The prestigious PPQ Legends Night auction, supported by event partners and Lloyds Auctions with zero buyer's premiums, will take place during the high-octane Gold Coast 500 weekend at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa.
