On-track action for the final round of the season officially gets underway with the opening practice sessions at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto. Riders hit the asphalt early to fine-tune their machine setups and gather crucial tyre data ahead of the decisive weekend in Spain.
The opening Free Practice 1 session is scheduled to kick off at 10:35 local time, followed by the second practice session in the afternoon at 15:00. Teams will utilize these valuable minutes to evaluate performance metrics and race paces under challenging track conditions.
All three championship titles have already been wrapped up heading into the season finale, with Yari Montella securing the independent riders' crown. This came following a difficult weekend for Sam Lowes in Estoril and a solid fourth-place finish for the Italian in Race 2 in Portugal last week.

Montella is still aiming to mathematically seal third place in the overall standings. Holding a 53-point advantage over Alex Lowes arriving at the venue, the Barni Ducati rider is in a commanding position to walk away from the 2026 campaign with a well-deserved championship bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Nicolo Bulega arrives at Jerez fresh off a return to the dominant form that characterized his 2026 season. As this marks his final appearance in WorldSBK before moving on, the Aruba.it Ducati star is highly motivated to end his tenure in the production-based series on the highest possible note.
