2026 F1 Standings After Austrian Grand Prix

Andrea Kimi Antonelli remains at the top of the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers' Championship after the Austrian Grand Prix, although his advantage was reduced following a third-place finish.

Victory for George Russell allowed the Mercedes driver to cut the championship deficit to 40 points. Antonelli now leads with 171 points, while Russell climbs to second on 131.

Lewis Hamilton dropped to third in the drivers' standings after finishing fifth at the Red Bull Ring and now has 125 points. The battle behind the top three also remains close, with Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen still firmly in contention.

Mercedes further strengthened its lead in the Constructors' Championship after collecting 40 of the 43 points available across the Austrian Grand Prix weekend. The team now leads the standings with 302 points, extending its advantage over Ferrari to 98 points.
