The motorsport world is witnessing the rise of a remarkable young talent as a driver born in 2012, Bruno Gryc, prepares to take the start line of this weekend’s Lake Superior Performance Rally (LSPR) behind the wheel of a Rally4 machine. Despite his tender age, Bruno Gryc already boasts solid experience across European stages. He first stepped into an R2 car back in 2022 when he was just 10 years old, before making the logical progression to Rally4 machinery and taking on competitive junior championships across Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

The opportunity to contest the American Rally Association National’s season finale provides Bruno Gryc with crucial seat time on unfamiliar terrain. He will pilot a Peugeot 208 Rally4 as part of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America, testing his racecraft against unique American gravel stages.

"We received an invitation to take part in this rally and started discussing whether we could make it happen. After a number of conversations, we managed to find the right solution, so I can finally say it – we’re really going to the USA!" Bruno Gryc stated regarding his exciting overseas campaign.

"It’s a huge adventure for me and something completely new. We’re not putting any pressure on ourselves. The rally, the stages and the whole atmosphere of competing in the United States will all be new to me," he continued, highlighting his balanced mindset ahead of the challenging event.

"Above all, I want to make the most of this opportunity, learn as much as possible and gain experience that will help me in the future. Of course, I’ll do everything I can to show my best. We’ll fight, I’ll give it everything I have and, most importantly, we’ll try to enjoy every kilometer as much as possible," he added.

The Peugeot 208 of Bruno Gryc is fully eligible for the Open 2WD class, where he will be guided by 26-year-old co-driver Ugnius Vainevicius. The youthful battle in identical machinery will also feature four other competitors, including 15-year-old rising star Mika Block.
