Ahead of the fierce battle at the iconic Mount Panorama circuit, Chaz Mostert set the pace in a crucial morning warm-up session. Piloting the Toyota GR Supra A90 alongside co-driver Fabian Coulthard, he clocked an impressive lap time of 2 minutes 05.3206 seconds in cool atmospheric conditions.
This result marks a significant milestone for the Japanese manufacturer, as it represents the first time they have topped the timesheets all weekend. The final warm-up session offered teams a vital opportunity to practice pit stops and driver changes ahead of the grueling 161-lap endurance classic.
Amidst Toyota's rising performance, minor concerns emerged when reports of a vibration surfaced from the #17 Dick Johnson Racing Ford Mustang entry driven by Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood. However, the team quickly downplayed any potential issues, confirming the situation was fully under control.

Todd Hazelwood stepped in to dismiss any panic regarding the condition of their machine, emphasizing that the crew had executed flawless preparation throughout the entire race week to ensure maximum reliability and speed.
"All okay, just precautionary stuff to be fair," said Kostecki’s co-driver, reflecting on the team's garage status. "The car feels really good. From a car #17 point of view, we’ve done an amazing job all week. The preparation has been tin top perfect and feeling really confident going into this race with Brodie and the whole team at Shell V-Power Racing. Bring it on, 161 laps. It’s a long day as we all know, but we’re in a great position to start it at least and we’ll get our head down and go from there.">
With warm-up concluded, the entire field is now locked in and ready for the lights to go out at the legendary Bathurst 1000, promising an intense day of strategic motorsport action.
