Charles Leclerc believes he has unlocked something crucial in his driving style with Ferrari, fueling his confidence to fight for race victories before the conclusion of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
The Monegasque driver secured a strong second-place finish at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, crossing the line behind race winner and championship leader Kimi Antonelli following intense wheel-to-wheel battles.

This podium followed another impressive runner-up finish in Singapore, with Leclerc noting that his overall feeling behind the wheel has improved remarkably over recent Grand Prix weekends.
Speaking during the post-race press conference, Leclerc explained, "Whether I can convert that into a win is a bit difficult to predict, because it's such fine margins, and it also depends on what the upgrade plans of the others are in upcoming races."
He further elaborated, "The feeling with the car is getting better and better. These cars are very specific and unique, and I feel like, over the last two or three races, I've unlocked something again in terms of driving, and particularly the set-up with my driving."
With five race weekends remaining on the 2026 calendar as the paddock heads to Mexico City, the battle for second place in the drivers' standings remains fiercely contested. Only nine points currently separate the drivers sitting from second down to fifth position, keeping the Scuderia star firmly in the hunt for higher honors.
