Charles Leclerc continued his strong Friday form by sweeping both practice sessions at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix. The Ferrari star topped the timesheets in FP2 with a blistering lap of 1 minute 17.827 seconds on soft compound tires, replicating his Friday dominance from Austin.
Despite making a couple of early mistakes into Turn 12 and Turn 1, the Monegasque driver quickly bounced back to set the benchmark pace in the high-altitude conditions. However, the Italian outfit remains cautious as they look to convert Friday's raw speed into a strong race result following their struggles to secure victory last week.
Meanwhile, the other side of the garage endured a frustrating afternoon as Lewis Hamilton was forced to halt his SF-26 on track due to an unexpected power loss. The seven-time world champion lost over 30 minutes of running time, triggering a brief Virtual Safety Car period as marshals recovered his car.

Action on track was intensely competitive behind the leading Ferrari, with McLaren's Lando Norris and Mercedes' George Russell separated by just three-thousandths of a second. The session also saw a temporary red flag caused by an early on-track skirmish between Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson in the stadium complex.
As the session drew to a close, rising talents rounded out a competitive top ten, setting the stage for an unpredictable and thrilling qualifying showdown in Mexico.
