CFMOTO has marked a historic milestone in international motorsport by announcing that the 675SR-R model will serve as the official and exclusive motorcycle for the FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) starting from the 2027 season. This landmark agreement makes the Chinese manufacturer the very first brand from its country to be selected as a sole motorcycle supplier for an FIM World Championship.
The agreement was solidified following an accord between the manufacturer, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), and Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO). Dilansir dari Motosan.es, this selection reinforces the brand's dedication to utilizing high-level competition as a direct platform to showcase the performance, advanced technology, and engineering capabilities of their production models on the global stage.
At the heart of the chosen machine lies a liquid-cooled, inline-three-cylinder 675cc engine engineered entirely in-house. This powertrain configuration delivers a maximum power output of 70 kW at 11,000 rpm alongside a peak torque of 70 Nm at 8,250 rpm, providing a robust mechanical foundation perfectly suited to meet the rigorous demands of international championship racing.

The motorcycle’s proven track record in domestic competition further backed its selection for the world series. The 675SR-R has already competed for two seasons within the intensely competitive British Superbike Championship (BSB), where it made history during its debut year by securing a podium finish—the first time a Chinese-manufactured production motorcycle achieved such a feat in the series.
Crucial to this ongoing technical evolution is the strategic partnership forged with Aspar Team, who serve as the brand's technical collaborator across various world championship paddocks. Expert riders and technical staff actively participated in rigorous testing and development phases, ensuring that valuable data gathered on the asphalt directly enhances the capability of both the production units and future race machinery.
