Formula 1, Sportrik Media - Cadillac F1 Team has unveiled a special livery for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, marking the team’s first race on American soil since joining the championship.
The new design features a strong United States theme, incorporating red, white, and blue elements alongside 50 stars representing each state. The concept is applied across the MAC-26, including a prominent rear wing treatment that reinforces the national identity of the team’s home event.
Drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will compete with the updated visual package, while also benefiting from a significant technical upgrade introduced for the Miami weekend. The combination of aesthetic and performance changes underlines the importance of this event for the team.
Beyond the car, the American identity is extended to the drivers’ race suits, which incorporate design elements intended to reflect national character while maintaining a refined and understated visual approach. This aligns with Cadillac’s broader branding strategy within Formula 1.
Chief Brand Advisor Cassidy Towriss explained that the livery was designed to deliver a clear message without excessive styling, reinforcing both confidence and brand consistency.
“The Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s special Miami Grand Prix livery is a natural extension of our identity. It’s deliberate and confident. This is our first home race, and it was important that fans still recognise what they’ve come to know,” Towriss stated.
The Miami Grand Prix represents a key milestone for Cadillac, combining its first home appearance with a critical stage in its competitive development. The introduction of upgrades alongside a distinctive livery reflects a dual focus on performance and brand positioning.
With home support and heightened expectations, Cadillac’s performance in Miami will serve as an early indicator of how effectively the team can translate technical updates into competitive gains as the 2026 Formula 1 season progresses.
