Max Verstappen finally shattered his Marina Bay hoodoo by dominating the race to secure his very first career victory at the Singapore Grand Prix in the 2026 season. The four-time world champion put on a masterclass on one of the most demanding street circuits on the calendar, sealing back-to-back wins and the 73rd victory of his illustrious Formula 1 career.
Behind the dominant Dutchman, the battle for the remaining podium steps delivered intense drama under the artificial lights. Charles Leclerc claimed second place after extracting maximum performance from his Ferrari charger to keep the pressure high throughout the 62-lap grueling encounter.
Meanwhile, an extraordinary performance was delivered by Kimi Antonelli, who clinched a crucial third-place podium finish with Mercedes. This stellar result extends his championship lead to a massive 102 points, placing the young prodigy agonizingly close to securing the 2026 world title.

The points-paying positions further down the order highlighted fierce battles across the grid. Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line in sixth, followed closely by Liam Lawson in seventh for Racing Bulls. Further down, George Russell grabbed ninth place while Isack Hadjar rounded out the top ten.
Several drivers suffered heartbreak with premature retirements due to mechanical gremlins. Lance Stroll was forced to retire on lap 38 due to a technical issue, joining Franco Colapinto and Gabriel Bortoleto on the sidelines after both suffered gearbox failures. The Formula 1 paddock will now head to the United States in two weeks for the next round.
