Veda Pratama delivered another standout performance by setting the fastest time in Practice for the 2026 German Moto3 round at the Sachsenring.
The Indonesian Honda Team Asia rider recorded a 1m25.848s to beat the entire field in an exceptionally close session. Pratama finished only 0.008 seconds ahead of Joel Esteban, but the narrow margin was enough to secure first place.
The significance of the result was underlined by the top three being covered by just 0.035 seconds. Eddie O'Shea took third, while Jesus Rios and Alvaro Carpe completed the top five.

Pratama remained at the head of the order despite the leading six riders being separated by only 0.125 seconds. With such small margins, a minor mistake could have reshaped the classification, but the Indonesian retained the benchmark.
The session took place on a dry circuit with an ambient temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a track temperature of 41 degrees. The leading 19 riders were separated by less than half a second, highlighting the intensity of the competition at the Sachsenring.
The result establishes Pratama as the main reference heading into the grid-deciding session. His next challenge will be converting that one-lap speed into a strong qualifying position for the 2026 German Moto3 race.
