The Moto3 practice session at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia delivered intense on-track action under cloudy skies at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit. David Almansa emerged as the fastest rider, clocking an impressive lap time of one minute 37.169 seconds on a dry Lombok asphalt with track temperatures soaring and humidity hitting 71 percent.
Tension briefly gripped the paddock when Hakim Danish crashed at turn 15 with 27 minutes remaining on the clock. The incident prompted marshals to wave yellow flags, temporarily halting the riders' rhythm before the competitive intensity resumed for the frantic final minutes of the session.
Amidst the fierce battle at the sharp end of the grid, Veda Pratama displayed immense determination to secure a vital position. Initially lingering down in 18th place, the young Indonesian rider orchestrated a late charge in the closing moments to break into the crucial qualification zone.

That fierce effort paid off as he successfully improved his lap time and climbed up to 12th position. His final benchmark placed him 0.871 seconds adrift of the pacesetter, providing a massive confidence boost heading into the next day's critical schedule.
The top of the timesheets saw Maximo Quiles slotting into second place closely behind, with Matteo Bertelle rounding out the top three. The Moto3 grid now shifts focus to the upcoming free practice two and the high-stakes qualifying sessions.
