If that happens, Ferrari would be in a difficult position as there is no clear successor.
Names like Antonello Coletta, Massimo Rivola, Maurizio Arrivabene, and Jerome D'Ambrosio have been mentioned as candidates. However, Corriere sees Horner's move as a diversion. Horner is reportedly more interested in the Williams ownership role than moving to Maranello.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail sees a bigger chance for Horner. Bernie Ecclestone is reportedly actively supporting Horner, with backing from Piero Ferrari. Horner's relationship with John Elkann is also said to be good, and his wife, Geri Halliwell, is open to moving to Maranello. But questions remain whether an Englishman can manage Ferrari's complex political environment.
The Daily Mail also mentions Vasseur's health issues, reportedly missing a day in Monaco due to heart problems exacerbated by work stress. If Horner comes, he is said to need full freedom to overhaul the team. Ecclestone suggests Horner should ask for a five-year contract with total freedom.
On the other hand, Leo Turrini in Quotidiano Nazionale highlights the pros and cons if Vasseur leaves. Turrini notes Vasseur is too close to Toto Wolff, which could backfire. He also questions whether Horner, Rivola, or Coletta is the right choice.
So far, Ferrari has made no official statement about Vasseur's future. This uncertainty creates doubt ahead of the next race and could affect the team's on-track performance. Fans await a decision that will shape Scuderia Ferrari's direction next season.
