Preparing for the fiercely competitive junior single-seater landscape, Van Amersfoort Racing has officially finalized its latest driver lineup ahead of the 2027 championship. The Dutch-based outfit secured the signature of promising Sri Lankan talent Yevan David to spearhead their campaign in the upcoming FIA Formula 3 Championship.
This confirmation arrives just days after the squad announced a contract renewal with Enzo Deligny. For the 19-year-old driver, the 2027 campaign will mark his sophomore year in the highly competitive feeder series following his official championship debut with AIX Racing last season.
David's motorsport trajectory highlights an impressive upward curve within the junior racing formulas. Prior to stepping up to the FIA Formula 3 grid, he secured an impressive runner-up finish in the 2025 Euroformula Open championship. His adaptation and speed translated into a total of 35 points during his rookie F3 campaign, highlighted by a standout podium performance with a second-place finish during the Sprint Race at Silverstone.
