Andrea Stella took the reins of McLaren at the start of 2023, when the team was languishing at the back of the grid. A sweeping technical restructure transformed their fortunes within months, turning them into podium contenders and eventually clinching their first constructors' championship in 26 years in 2024, followed by another in 2025.

"It is a privilege to lead this team because of what it represents in the history and present of Formula 1, but above all because of the way the team continues to look ahead and tackle challenges."

Stella emphasized the team's relentless drive. "There's a hunger for victory, there's energy, there's talent. There's a desire to write new chapters that live up to the tradition we carry on our shoulders, and to do so in true McLaren style," he added.
