MotoGP, Sportrik Media - The schedule for the 2026 Spanish MotoGP at Jerez, taking place from April 24–26, has been converted into Western Indonesia Time (WIB), with track action beginning Friday afternoon and culminating in Sunday’s main race.
Round four of the season marks a key moment following an extended break since the United States Grand Prix, while also opening the European phase of the calendar. Attention remains on Aprilia and Marco Bezzecchi, who arrive unbeaten so far, as Ducati looks to close the early-season performance gap.
Friday’s running begins with Free Practice 1 scheduled from 15:45 to 16:30 WIB, followed by the Practice session from 19:00 to 20:00 WIB. These sessions are critical in determining direct qualification into Q2.

Saturday features the first competitive sessions, starting with Free Practice 2 from 15:10 to 15:40 WIB. Qualifying follows with Q1 at 15:50 to 16:05 WIB and Q2 at 16:15 to 16:30 WIB. The 12-lap Sprint race is set for 20:00 WIB, offering both points and a key performance reference ahead of Sunday.
On Sunday, the warm-up session will take place from 14:40 to 14:50 WIB, before the main race begins at 19:00 WIB over 25 laps. This race is expected to play a significant role in shaping the early championship standings.
Beyond the schedule, several competitive storylines define the Jerez weekend. Marc Marquez is expected to return closer to full fitness after physical issues in the opening rounds, while Gigi Dall’Igna has expressed confidence that Ducati can regain competitiveness.
Meanwhile, Tech3 will field only one bike after both Maverick Vinales and Pol Espargaro were ruled out due to injury, potentially impacting the team’s performance at this round.
With technical development, rider condition, and manufacturer competition all converging, the 2026 Spanish MotoGP at Jerez represents a pivotal weekend in the early phase of the season. The outcome is set to provide a clearer indication of the competitive order heading into the next rounds on the European calendar.
