After weeks of frustrating radio dramas that tested the team's patience, Shane van Gisbergen finally enjoyed a clean race free from any communication issues at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The New Zealand driver had very few complaints throughout the entire race, steering his machine steadily toward a well-earned ninth-place finish.
This result marks the first time Shane van Gisbergen has broken into the top 10 on an oval track since his impressive fifth-place run at North Wilkesboro back in July. Starting the race from 25th on the grid aboard his Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet Camaro, he methodically worked his way through the field with patience and precision.
Racecraft and consistency proved to be vital as he navigated the long stints, wrapping up Stage 1 in 15th position before improving to 13th in Stage 2. He then executed a calculated drive to the chequered flag in Stage 3, emerging as the highest-finishing non-Chase driver in the fiercely competitive field.

Relief echoed clearly over the team radio once the race concluded, reflecting the hard work put in by the crew in the garage. "Awesome job team, well done," Shane van Gisbergen radioed to his crew. "Car was really good. Pit stops were good. Thanks again."
At the front of the pack, the race was masterfully controlled by Chase Briscoe of Joe Gibbs Racing, who swept both stages and led 175 of the 267 laps. However, late-race drama boiled over on the final lap when Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports made a desperate final-turn charge that ended in the wall, ultimately allowing Tyler Reddick to salvage third place.
