Red Bull Unveils Special Race Suit for Verstappen at Dutch GP

Max Verstappen will look different at this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix. Red Bull has prepared a special edition race suit for its star driver, marking an emotional farewell at the Zandvoort circuit.

This will be Max Verstappen's final appearance in Formula 1 on home soil, after the Dutch GP was officially removed from the calendar starting next season. The 28-year-old will surely want to say goodbye in style in front of his own crowd.

As reported by Motorsport Week, Red Bull has also released a special helmet design inspired by the Netherlands and the characteristics of the Zandvoort circuit. Now it's the race suit's turn to get a special touch, with dominant orange accents.

The orange color is no coincidence. It is a tribute to the 'Orange Army', the nickname for the loyal Dutch fans who have never stopped supporting Verstappen and Red Bull throughout his F1 career. That tone also serves as a fitting farewell symbol for the always boisterous grandstands.

Zandvoort indeed holds sweet memories for Verstappen. He secured victories three years in a row from 2021 to 2023, and has always stood on the podium every time the Dutch GP has been held since its return to the calendar in 2021. That record is something he will want to extend in this farewell season.

Not only Verstappen, but his Red Bull teammate, Isack Hadjar, will also wear the same special race suit. Hadjar himself has a fond memory at Zandvoort, having achieved his first F1 podium at this circuit last season with Racing Bulls.
