The world of sidecar racing took a nostalgic turn as former world champion Klaus Klaffenbock officially launched his autobiographical book titled Sterben tun die Anderen in front of passionate motorsport fans in Austria.
The grand book launch event, co-authored alongside Kurt Molzer, took place at the Audi House of Progress situated on Karntner Straße in Vienna. The former racer, who secured three prestigious victories at the infamous Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man, shared deep insights into his turbulent and successful career through an exclusive reading session.
A prominent audience gathered to listen to the adventurous anecdotes, featuring well-known personalities such as Austria's star comedian Alex Kristan alongside Alexander Salvator Habsburg-Lothringen, a direct descendant of Emperor Franz Joseph.

Furthermore, true motorsport royalty paid their respects to the exceptional athlete during the evening. Legends in attendance included seven-time sidecar world champion Rolf Biland, brilliant sidecar chassis designer Louis Christen, five-time Grand Prix winner Gustl Auinger, and prominent Formula 1 commentator Andi Grobl.
Fans eager to dive into the inspiring stories behind the visor can purchase the book, which also includes an English version titled Dying is for Others. The publication is currently available directly via Klaffenbock's official website for a retail price of i34.90.
