The fiercely contested Porsche Carrera Cup series is set to deliver high-octane action at Mount Panorama with a formidable 24-car grid for the upcoming Bathurst 1000 weekend. Paddock tension will undoubtedly reach its peak as teams and drivers prepare for a physically and mentally demanding schedule across multiple categories.
Attention will heavily focus on two standout drivers undertaking demanding double-duty roles across different championships. Harri Jones is slated for Supercars action with Matt Stone Racing, while David Russell joins forces with PremiAir Racing alongside his primary commitments in the one-make Porsche series.
Entering the crucial weekend battles, Harri Jones holds a commanding 146-point buffer over New Zealand challenger Clay Osborne, riding the immense momentum of a dominant four-race win streak that has put him firmly in control of the championship narrative.

Beyond domestic battles, rising stars have kept themselves occupied with valuable international opportunities between rounds. Max Geoghegan recently competed at Misano as part of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy grid, whereas Lockie Bloxsom expanded his global experience by racing in both Porsche Carrera Cup North America and Porsche Carrera Cup Japan.
The championship will stage three intense races throughout the weekend to determine ultimate supremacy. The action kicks off with a 40-minute hit-out on Friday at 2:25 pm AEDT, followed by two 30-minute sprint encounters on Saturday at 3:25 pm and Sunday at 9:30 am, serving as the final high-speed contest before the lights go out for the Bathurst 1000.
