Paola Ramos secured the final victory of the season at Jerez, capping off her WorldWCR campaign in stellar fashion. The Spanish rider delivered a masterclass in the second race despite difficult weather conditions, fighting tooth and nail to cross the finish line first and cement third place in the overall championship standings.
Ending the 2026 season with a double victory, Ramos expressed her delight over a flawless weekend that included pole position and two race wins, notably overcoming a double long lap penalty from the previous day. Speaking to our colleagues on site, she hopes the consistency will carry over to next year to eliminate zero-point finishes and mount a serious title charge.
Reflecting on the final race dynamics, she noted the moment she saw Beatriz Neila closing the gap behind her. By pushing hard and aggressively defending every potential passing spot on the final lap, she successfully defended her lead to claim the chequered flag.

Finishing her rookie season in third place with multiple podiums, wins, pole positions, and a circuit lap record is an incredible milestone. Ramos emphasized that learning how to manage race weekends calmly without making erratic decisions has been the biggest takeaway from her learning curve this season.
Looking ahead to 2027, although full grid confirmations and technical packages involving new bikes and tyres are still pending, her clear intention is to fight for the ultimate crown. Consistency remains the absolute key in a championship with such a limited number of rounds, and she aims to leverage her newfound experience next year.
