Aruba.it Racing - Ducati standout Nicolo Bulega is on the brink of setting a brand new victory record in the WorldSBK championship. His dominant Race 1 win at the Estoril circuit matched Alvaro Bautista's benchmark of 27 wins in a single season set back in 2023.
Even though a golden opportunity to break the historic record awaits him, the Italian rider insists that his primary focus remains on securing race victories rather than milestones. He maintains absolute commitment to delivering peak performance on track for the remainder of the 2026 campaign.
"For me, important is to win races; then, if I can achieve more records it’s even better, but now I’m just thinking to win more races," Nicolo Bulega stated when discussing the upcoming record achievement.

This latest triumph comes as a massive relief following a challenging round at Cremona, where the newly crowned champion surprisingly went without a single race victory for the first time this season before successfully bouncing back in Portugal.
"I’m really happy to be back to winning, I’m really happy about my results. Thanks to my team because after Cremona I needed to have my good feeling back. So, I’m happy to ride my bike well again. So, I’m happy for the results and for my good feeling that is back," he concluded.
