A Sunday victory for Bezzecchi would mark several milestones: Italy's 300th premier class win, Bezzecchi's 11th career victory across 11 different circuits, and Aprilia's first-ever win at Misano. Support from the home crowd could provide extra fuel for Marco Bezzecchi to handle the pressure.
Weather and Rider Absences
Weather could play a crucial role this weekend. Rain is forecast to disrupt several sessions, though Sunday's race is expected to escape the worst. Unpredictable track conditions often produce surprises, and teams must be ready with wet-dry strategies.
The grid will be missing two full-time riders. Ai Ogura of Trackhouse Racing is still sidelined with a left thumb injury, and the team has opted not to field a replacement. Meanwhile, in the Tech3 garage, Pol Espargaro steps in for Maverick Vinales for the third consecutive weekend. Vinales continues to recover from a left shoulder injury sustained at the Sachsenring in 2025, with his absence stretching back to the 2026 British GP.
