The World Championship offers no breathing room as the paddock heads straight to Indonesia for the seventeenth round of the season, scheduled from October 9 to 11, following a fierce battle in Motegi.
The previous Japanese Grand Prix blew the championship battle wide open. Marc Marquez claimed a maximum of 37 points thanks to a double victory in both the Sprint and main race, dramatically cutting Jorge Martin's championship advantage. The Aprilia rider continues to lead the standings with 333 points, but his margin has evaporated to just two points over Marquez, who sits closely behind with 331 points.
Further down the order, Marco Bezzecchi maintains third place in the standings with 284 points, refusing to rule himself out of a championship fight that has rapidly evolved into a thrilling three-way battle.

The Mandalika circuit will therefore serve as the next battleground for this intense title showdown as it arrives in Indonesia at one of its most exciting junctures. Martin will attempt to defend his championship lead, while Marquez aims to complete his remarkable comeback with six Grands Prix remaining on the calendar.
In addition to the premier MotoGP class, the race weekend will feature full action from Moto2 and Moto3 categories, which are also facing a decisive phase of their respective seasons on the Indonesian layout.
