Breathtaking action immediately unfolded at the opening of the seventh round of the Hard Enduro World Championship in Turkey as Mitch Brightmore set the tone right from the qualifying session. Aboard his GASGAS machine at «Kindil Beach», the British rider clocked a sensational time of 1:32,61 minutes, pulling nearly six seconds clear of his closest challengers.
That impressive pace did not drop off at all throughout the entire day of racing. Exceptional physical endurance and precise line selection allowed him to sweep all three heat races before capping off his absolute dominance by winning the superfinale, crossing the finish line with a time of 8:50,02 minutes.

Intense battle right behind the winner was settled by his main championship rival, Teo Kabakchiev riding for Sherco. The Bulgarian rider had to settle for second place, followed by Beta's James Moore in third. The opening day felt even more special for the Brightmore family as Ashton Brightmore rounded out a brilliant performance by securing fourth position.

Meanwhile, KTM factory star Manuel Lettenbichler had to dig deep amidst fierce competition from his rivals to finish in fifth place. The high-level battle dynamics also featured veteran rider Graham Jarvis successfully fighting his way into the semifinals to close out the day in 21st position.
This crucial result from the Beach Race also determines the starting order for Friday's Forest Race challenge. This resounding victory ensures Mitch Brightmore will open the path on day two under the HEWC sprint format in the forests of Kemer, ahead of the legendary Main Event finale heading toward the summit of Mount Olympos at 2,365 meters altitude.
