Max Verstappen delivered a masterclass at the Marina Bay street circuit to secure a commanding maiden victory at the Singapore Grand Prix. Facing only a brief challenge from Charles Leclerc off the line, the four-time world champion was untroubled as he cruised to the 73rd victory of his career, crossing 7.3 seconds clear of the Ferrari driver.
The triumph marked his second consecutive grand prix victory following a stellar sprint win on Saturday, propelling the Red Bull ace up to fourth in the drivers’ championship standings. Verstappen commanded the pace on both soft and medium tyres, showcasing supreme control under the lights of Marina Bay.
Kimi Antonelli completed the podium for Mercedes after gaining two crucial positions in the final six laps. The Italian prodigy successfully extended his championship advantage over his teammate to 102 points, while the sister car salvaged ninth place from a dismal 19th on the starting grid.

Lando Norris claimed fourth ahead of Oscar Piastri, who executed a brilliant late move past Lewis Hamilton on the final lap. Piastri's recovery drive was particularly noteworthy as the young Australian overcame both a slow pit stop and a lingering slow puncture during a tense evening of racing.
Reflecting on his milestone weekend, Verstappen expressed immense satisfaction. "It’s taken a while, but I think this race was very good," he stated, highlighting the positive momentum within the Red Bull camp as the 2026 season barrels toward its final six rounds.
