Behind them, the battle for the top ten is intensifying. Ai Ogura still leads among the rookies, while Raul Fernandez and Alex Marquez are close behind. Francesco Bagnaia, who finished off the podium, saw his championship position drop to ninth.
With a long season ahead, a 12-point lead is far from safe. However, the momentum is clearly with Martin and Aprilia. Marquez, the reigning champion, will not give up easily. This year's title fight is expected to be fierce until the final round.
