Marc Marquez delivered another masterclass at the Aragon circuit, taking his fourth grand prix victory of the season after a breathtaking overtake on Marco Bezzecchi.
Starting from second, Marquez initially lost ground to Bezzecchi and even fell to third behind Jorge Martin. But the eight-time world champion responded in style, dispatching Martin at Turn 15 and then repeating the move on Bezzecchi six laps later.
The decisive moment came on lap six when Marquez dove up the inside at Turn 15, forcing Bezzecchi wide. The pair nearly touched on the back straight, but Marquez held his nerve to complete the pass.
After taking the lead, Marquez had to fend off Pedro Acosta before breaking clear with fastest laps on laps 13 and 14. He crossed the line 1.754s ahead of Acosta, extending his perfect win record at Aragon with Ducati.
The victory moves Marquez to second in the championship, just 19 points behind Martin, after recovering a massive 21 points over the weekend.
