The battle for grid supremacy at the Indonesian Grand Prix intensified as Marco Bezzecchi emerged as the rider to beat by setting the pace in the final practice session. The Italian rider delivered a stunning performance around the Mandalika circuit to establish himself as a prime contender for qualifying.
The high-stakes session was temporarily halted with a red flag following a dramatic highside crash involving Toprak Razgatlioglu. Although the Turkish standout was seen holding his collarbone after walking away from the incident, he displayed remarkable grit by returning to track action once the session resumed.
Once the riders headed back out onto the asphalt, it was the Aprilia machinery that once again took charge of the timing screens. Bezzecchi led the charge emphatically, carving out a benchmark lap time of 1:29.560s to put daylight between himself and the chasing pack.

Bezzecchi maintained his position at the summit of the timesheets until the chequered flag dropped, with Raul Fernandez slotting into second place as his nearest challenger, finishing 0.174s adrift of the benchmark time.
With such closely contested margins throughout the field, the stage is now set for a fiercely fought qualifying session as the grid sorts out their starting positions for the upcoming races.
