Sirkuit Mandalika has officially obtained a FIM Grade A license ahead of the 2026 MotoGP racing event after successfully passing rigorous technical inspections. This prestigious status ensures that Indonesia's pride circuit is fully prepared to host the upcoming Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia without any regulatory obstacles.
Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) President Director, Ananda Mikola, revealed that this achievement marks a crucial momentum for national racing infrastructure readiness. License number 1277 was issued directly after FIM conducted a comprehensive final inspection on Thursday as part of the mandatory administrative stages before the main race weekend.

During the strict assessment process, the FIM inspection team checked various crucial details ranging from run-off areas, gravel beds, tyre barriers, to pit lane readiness and the starting grid. Safety supporting aspects such as LED lighting systems, long lap penalty zones, and marshal team readiness were also major highlights to guarantee world-class rider safety.

The 4.301-kilometer track with a left-side pole position is ready to thrill speed enthusiasts throughout the weekend. Based on FIM regulations for solo categories, the circuit has a maximum capacity of up to 32 riders who will compete in free practice sessions, qualifying, and the pinnacle races expected to pack the grandstands.

This international racing weekend not only features the premier class but also showcases intense competition in Moto2, Moto3, and the Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup. The full sequence of high-speed action is scheduled to run from Friday through Sunday at The Mandalika, Lombok, under strict international safety standards.
