Lewis Hamilton once again turned heads, not for his on-track exploits but for his arrival style at the Monza circuit for the Italian Grand Prix in September. The seven-time champion rolled up in his restored Ferrari F40 and stepped out in a black suit with a tan overcoat that immediately became a talking point.
Details about the outfit worn by the Ferrari driver have now been revealed. Hamilton, working with his long-term stylist Eric McNeal, posed in a custom-made Khaite look—despite the brand not producing a dedicated menswear line. He paired the all-black ensemble with a black beret and black boots, posing by the iconic red supercar. The look was similar to one showcased on the Fall 2026 collection runway.
Fans reacted with enthusiasm. On Instagram, one wrote, "He never misses," while another commented, "He showed this girl what true style looks like." A third added, "Everything looks better on Lewis."
But behind the style, there's a story about the F40. Hamilton revealed he acquired the car ahead of the Italian Grand Prix, having previously sold his entire car collection. "My very own F40. This is the car of my dreams and has been for as long as I can remember," he posted on Instagram. "As a kid I dreamt of having one. When I joined Ferrari last year I made sure to have one with me on my first day at Maranello. That’s how much it means to me."
He added, "These cars are works of art and incredibly rare, so when I found this one, covered in dust after being sat in a garage for over thirty years, I knew I had to bring her home. First to Maranello, where the master engineers and mechanics at the factory worked for weeks to bring her back to life. Massive thank you to everyone who had a hand in this project. This has truly been a dream come true. I can’t wait to share more with you all."
Hamilton's Monza appearance was more than just a fashion statement. It showed how he blends Ferrari heritage with his bold personal style. The collaboration with Khaite, a brand known for minimalist and elegant aesthetics, cements his status as a cross-industry icon. For Hamilton, racing and lifestyle are inseparable.
Amid fierce on-track competition, moments like this remind us that drivers are humans with passions beyond the helmet. Monza, with its long history, provided the perfect backdrop for a bold style statement. And for fans, seeing Hamilton step out of the F40 in a custom suit is a reminder of why he remains the center of attention, both on and off the track.
