Lewis Hamilton's British GP Podium Under Threat

Lewis Hamilton faces the threat of losing his British Grand Prix podium after being placed under another post-race stewards' investigation at Silverstone.

However, a potential time penalty could significantly change Hamilton's final result. Oscar Piastri finished 11th, just 4.0 seconds behind Hamilton, meaning an added penalty could drop the Ferrari driver out of the points.

The situation marks Hamilton's second complication of the same race. He had already received a five-second penalty after being judged to have made a false start by moving before the lights went out.

That first penalty was served at his pit stop, but the second investigation leaves Hamilton's podium result uncertain again. For Ferrari, the stewards' decision will be important because it could affect the team's constructors' points after Leclerc's victory.

The final British GP classification now depends on the outcome of the yellow flag investigation. If an additional penalty is applied, Hamilton risks losing the podium and potentially falling outside the top 10, dramatically changing Ferrari's Silverstone result.
