The KOVE 450 RR has officially landed in the Spanish market with a formula rarely seen in the middleweight sport class: a 443cc inline-four engine producing 67 hp, weighing just 165 kg (kerb weight), and featuring fully adjustable KYB suspension. What's even more surprising is that all of this comes at a price of only i6,297.
Those figures are certainly eye-catching, but what's even more enticing is the engine character that is nearly extinct in this class. The KOVE 450 RR brings a different soul compared to most modern faired sports bikes.
Four-Cylinder Engine with a Distinctive Character
At the heart of the KOVE 450 RR is an inline-four, 443cc, DOHC, 16-valve engine with a bore and stroke of 59mm x 40.5mm. This design allows the engine to rev very high. Peak power of 67 hp arrives at 13,250 rpm, while maximum torque of 38 Nm is delivered at 11,000 rpm. The claimed top speed is 220 km/h.

The engine's character is clearly designed to be enjoyed at high revs. Power delivery is progressive and becomes more aggressive as the rpm climbs. In the low and mid-range, response is smooth, but once it hits the red zone, the character transforms completely. The distinctive four-cylinder sound, the ferocity of acceleration, and the need to constantly play with the gears are all part of the riding experience that feels like a high-end sportbike.
Full Electronics: Ram Air, Quickshifter, and Riding Modes
KOVE didn't stop at the engine. KOVE equips the 450 RR with comprehensive electronics for its class: ride-by-wire, two riding modes (Sport and Eco), traction control, ABS, and a quickshifter. A Ram Air system is also included to harness dynamic air pressure at high speeds, which is claimed to boost power to around 70 hp.
The quickshifter perfectly complements the engine's aggressive nature. With clutchless upshifts that don't interrupt power, the rider can maintain acceleration momentum without losing time. A TFT display completes a package where technology isn't just for show but genuinely enhances the riding experience.
165 kg: The Key to Agility
The 165 kg kerb weight is a crucial figure. For a middleweight sport bike, lighter weight makes maneuvering easier, reduces braking strain, and creates a nimble machine without needing excessive power. The chassis uses high-tensile steel tubing, and the wheelbase strikes a balance between stability at speed and agility in corners.
With a powerful engine, light weight, and advanced electronics, the KOVE 450 RR offers a package that's hard to beat in its class. Its competitive price makes it even more attractive for those seeking a sportbike with a different character and thrilling performance.
