The Formula 1 race weekend at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace Interlagos brought extra drama to the investigation room as Kimi Antonelli was among the drivers summoned to the stewards after the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
The newly-crowned world champion was called over an alleged unsafe release involving Alpine driver Franco Colapinto. The tense incident occurred amid a chaotic scramble for intermediate tyres as heavy rain struck the Interlagos circuit in the closing stages.
Despite having to report to the race officials, Mercedes confirmed that the ongoing inquiry does not place their recently secured constructors' championship title under any threat.

Elsewhere in the paddock, Scuderia Ferrari star Charles Leclerc was also summoned to explain a controversial penultimate-lap maneuver against Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson at Juncao.
Rounding off the list of post-race investigations, Oliver Bearman was likewise called by the stewards to answer for a separate pit-lane unsafe release incident.
