The race weekend at the Lusail International Circuit delivered an extraordinary spectacle as Jorge Martin pushed past his physical limits aboard his Aprilia Racing machine. Just two weeks after suffering a high-speed crash at Phillip Island resulting in a broken wrist, the Spaniard displayed ironclad resilience that left the entire paddock in awe.
During Friday's sessions, he directly secured his passage into Q2 and qualified in eleventh place. A massive shock wave followed during the Tissot Sprint as he surged through the pack and even led the race ahead of Marc Marquez before eventually crossing the finish line in a deeply emotional third place.
"Right now I am completely exhausted, but it was worth giving everything even though I am in quite strong pain now," Martin said after completing the grueling Grand Prix distance while managing severe discomfort in his right wrist.

Starting the main race from tenth on the grid, the rider fought tenaciously against Johann Zarco and successfully overtook Fabio Di Giannantonio in the later stages. Another position was gained following a long-lap penalty for Fermin Aldeguer, allowing him to secure crucial championship points.
"We came here, gave it everything, and reached our goal. Considering that last Tuesday I didn't even know if I could be here, and then standing on the podium on Saturday, that is very special," he added.
The defiant rider now has a crucial two-week window to accelerate his recovery ahead of the upcoming round in Portugal, maintaining his ultimate target of fighting at the very front once again.
