Rider Jack Miller faced another extremely challenging weekend after describing his machine as almost unrideable during the Indonesian Grand Prix main race at the Mandalika Circuit. This persistent issue marked the second consecutive Grand Prix where the Australian rider struggled heavily to tame his factory-supported machinery amidst traffic.
Previously at Motegi, the primary culprit was blamed on overly conservative starting tyre pressures which triggered massive front-end moments while riding closely behind competitors. However, the situation at Mandalika presented different indications as he suffered a race-ending crash on the fifth lap after starting down from 17th position on the grid.
Initial analysis points toward potential power unit inconsistencies during track sessions. This erratic behavior made it exceptionally difficult for the rider to anticipate the motorcycle's reactions under acceleration and heavy braking zones across the challenging layout of the Indonesian venue.

"It was pretty similar to Japan. I had a reasonably good feeling this morning, but as soon as we went out for the Sprint, the bike became almost unrideable," Jack Miller stated regarding the difficult situation he encountered throughout the race weekend.
He further added that these technical hurdles demand thorough investigations from factory engineers to pinpoint the exact root cause. "Something is not working as it should, whether it's related to the fuel map or something else. The engine behavior is inconsistent, and we need to work harder to understand why," he added.
The garage situation worsened as his teammate Toprak Razgatlioglu was forced to withdraw due to a recently dislocated shoulder injury. This scoreless outing confirmed that the Pramac Yamaha squad failed to secure championship points for the fourth consecutive Grand Prix weekend.
Team director Gino Borsoi admitted that initial expectations were remarkably high, especially considering the promising pace demonstrated since Friday practice sessions. Nevertheless, technical setbacks and on-track incidents prevented the squad from translating their underlying potential into tangible results.
"Toprak's injury certainly made things more difficult, but Jack's crash today was also a setback we could have done without. We know we are facing difficulties at the moment, but we have shown that we can fight for points, so we need to understand why we are not managing to turn that potential into results," Gino Borsoi emphasized.
