MotoGP organizers implemented a 5000 euro fine for missing weekend fan activities such as the 'Hero Walk' autograph sessions ahead of the Indonesian Grand Prix.
The enforcement arrives in the wake of growing tension regarding rider attendance at commercial obligations, highlighted by Marc Marquez using a stunt double during a pre-event karting commitment in Japan due to shoulder recovery. While the new framework has faced backlash from competitors concerned about mounting stress and a demanding schedule ahead of the 2027 technical overhaul, Miller maintained a resolute stance on collective responsibility.
Speaking to reporters including Crash.net during the Indonesian round, the Pramac star questioned why any competitor would consider themselves exempt from shared paddock duties. He emphasized that unity among the riders is paramount when fulfilling obligations to the global fanbase supporting the championship.
