Jack Miller is facing his future with a cool head. The Australian rider has reiterated his desire to keep racing, even though his chances of staying in MotoGP are shrinking. In the Aragon paddock, Miller spoke openly about a potential switch to WorldSBK, a move that could mark a new chapter in his long career.
At 32 next year, Miller has already clocked up more than 250 Grands Prix. But he refuses to rush a decision. “I want to keep racing; I feel I still have a lot to give and I’m still improving,” he said. If he does have to move to WorldSBK, Miller insists it won’t be just a fallback, but a genuine effort to build a solid new phase, not a stepping stone back to MotoGP.
The confirmation that almost all MotoGP seats are taken has made Miller look elsewhere. “All the places here are taken, so I’m looking at Superbikes to try to get something solid and competitive,” he said. His tone is calm, without panic, even though his future is still uncertain. He prefers to wait for the right decision rather than rush into a difficult situation.
Hope at Yamaha and the Aragon Challenge
Amid the uncertainty, Miller remains focused on his duties with Pramac Yamaha. He says the break gave engineers time to evaluate data and make refinements. “We have a few things coming soon,” he said mysteriously, without revealing technical details.
Looking to Aragon, Miller rates the circuit as quite fun, with a mix of fast and slow corners that demand good traction. Last year he struggled there, but this year he’s optimistic about the bike’s improved performance. “We should be a bit more competitive this year,” he said hopefully.
Despite shrinking MotoGP options, Miller stays calm. He knows this decision will shape his career, and he wants to make sure his next step is the right one. “I don’t want to rush; I don’t want to be reckless,” he stressed. With this mature attitude, Miller seems ready for whatever comes next, whether staying in MotoGP or embarking on a new adventure in WorldSBK.
