Scuderia Ferrari has officially revamped its prestigious talent development program, the Ferrari Driver Academy, featuring an eight-driver lineup for the upcoming 2027 racing season. The Maranello-based stable has injected fresh blood into its ranks by securing three highly rated rising stars to bolster its international motorsport pipeline.
The newly inducted trio consists of young Dutch karter Daniel Miron, Turkish prospect Alp Aksoy, and Colombian youngster Salim Hanna. These fresh faces join the iconic Italian outfit's development ecosystem with high expectations to follow in the footsteps of previous graduates who made it to the pinnacle of motorsport.
At just 13 years of age, Daniel Miron stands as the youngest among the fresh arrivals. Having finished second in the European FIA Championship within the OK-Junior category, Miron will now step up to take on the premier OK karting class to further sharpen his racecraft and technical feedback capabilities.
A step further up the motorsport ladder, Noah Baglin and Filippo Sala are officially hanging up their karting boots to transition into single-seater racing. The British and Italian talents will represent the FDA colors in the competitive Spanish Formula 4 Championship as they embark on their maiden open-wheel campaigns.
Meanwhile, Alp Aksoy secures a direct promotion to the European Formula Regional Championship. The 16-year-old Istanbul native caught the watchful eyes of Ferrari scouts following a stellar maiden single-seater campaign in the Italian F4 and Euro4 series, highlighted by three dominant victories at Misano and Paul Ricard.
The upper echelons of the academy pathway are equally active, with Tuukka Taponen making a high-profile graduation to Formula 2 for 2027. The Finnish charger returns to the ART Grand Prix fold following a strong campaign that yielded a third-place finish in the overall Formula 3 standings.
