Fermin Aldeguer has been officially ruled out of the upcoming Australian Grand Prix weekend at Phillip Island following successful surgery on his right hand.
The Gresini Racing rider suffered a fracture at the base of the first metacarpal bone in his right hand during the Indonesian Grand Prix event.
Due to the severity of the fracture, medical intervention was required, and the Spaniard underwent an operation last Tuesday to kickstart his rehabilitation.

Missing the trip to Phillip Island marks a significant setback for the squad as they navigate the crucial closing stages of the championship.
To fill the vacant seat for the upcoming weekend, Iker Lecuona is set to step in and pilot the Ducati machine in Australia.
The primary goal remains a swift recovery with the hope of returning to action one week later at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
