F1 Academy has opened the door once again for young talent to prove their worth. Two names have been officially selected for the 2026 Rookie Test, set to take place at Circuito de Navarra in Spain this September: Zoe Florescu and Alexia Danielsson.
Florescu is no stranger to F1 Academy fans. The 18-year-old Romanian previously starred as a Wild Card at the Dutch GP. Although she failed to score points, her performance at Zandvoort caught attention, even finishing seventh in her first qualifying session before being disqualified for a technical regulation breach. Her potential with the Hitech team remains undoubted.
Danielsson, meanwhile, arrives with a rising reputation. The Swedish racer competes in the F4 CEZ Championship and also serves as an F4 development driver for More Than Equal. That mix of experience and support makes her a deserving candidate for this golden opportunity.

Beyond these two, a total of 18 promising young drivers have been chosen for the Rookie Test. They will not only hit the track but also take part in the Rookie Training Camp, a new initiative developed with Loughborough University. The camp is scheduled for three days in August, ahead of the official test.
F1 Academy's decision to repeat last year's success underscores their commitment to nurturing the next generation. With competition intensifying, all eyes will be on the rookies in Navarra.
