Good news for motorsport fans who own Sony's latest generation console. Electronic Arts' official Formula 1 video game, F1 25, is now available at no extra cost for PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5.
As reported by Motorsport.com, this exciting offer runs from October 6 to November 2. PlayStation Plus subscribers across Essential, Extra, or Premium tiers can download the game and keep it in their collection for as long as their membership remains active.
Although this provides the base game, players still get full access to deep gameplay modes. You can dive into the Career mode, explore the team-ownership sandbox of My Team 2.0, and engage in online multiplayer racing through F1 World.

The title features highly accurate circuits built using advanced LiDAR scans of real-world tracks. This ensures legendary venues such as Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka, and Imola look and feel as close to the real thing as possible.
However, players should note that this free offering does not include the subsequent season's expansion. Content featuring new 2026 cars, active aerodynamics, new teams like Audi and Cadillac, and the MADRING street circuit will require a separate add-on purchase on the PlayStation Store.
