Absolute dominance was once again displayed by Nicolo Bulega at the Estoril circuit, where the reigning champion swept the entire weekend with a brilliant third consecutive victory. Riding his Ducati machine, the Italian rider left no room for his rivals to challenge his supremacy in a dramatic season-defining race.
Race 2 action kicked off instantly as the lights went out at the Estoril circuit. Iker Lecuona made another impressive start to rocket past his teammate off the line, forcing Bulega to dig deep. However, the defending champion quickly reclaimed the lead before the second lap, while Alberto Surra faced a slight setback after starting from the front row.
The battle at the front intensified as unexpected incidents altered the podium composition. Alvaro Bautista pushed hard to snatch third place from Surra, but a costly crash with six laps remaining shattered the Spanish rider's hopes of returning to the podium. This mistake paved the way for Surra to comfortably secure third position.

Meanwhile, the spotlight also shone brightly on Yari Montella's brilliant campaign. Finishing in fourth place was more than enough for the Italian rider to clinch the Independent championship title with one round to spare, following Barni team's earlier success in Cremona.
The climax of this extraordinary weekend was capped off by a historic milestone for Bulega. With his victory in Estoril Race 2, he reached a staggering 664 points this season, surpassing the previous all-time single-season points record held by legendary WorldSBK star Jonathan Rea.
