After three wins in the last four races, Ducati arrived at Silverstone with confidence—though aware the track suited Aprilia better. Yet the Borgo Panigale brand was never truly competitive for pole or victory, failing even to secure a podium in both the Sprint and the GP. Alex Marquez might have grabbed third without a mistake, but it was still not an ideal weekend for Gigi Dall'Igna and company.

The MotoGP standings are heating up. Jorge Martin strengthened his lead with 240 points, 31 ahead of Marco Bezzecchi, 37 clear of Ai Ogura, and 40 ahead of the top Ducati rider, Marc Marquez. Fabio Di Giannantonio sits fifth, 41 points behind.
