The legendary next-generation FastCross event is gearing up for an explosive weekend of racing in Arsago, Italy. Originally launched back in 1984 by successful entrepreneur and cross enthusiast Giorgio Saporiti, the event experienced a long hiatus before returning in 2023. Set against the picturesque backdrop near Lake Maggiore and Lake Varese, the venue once again delivers a spectacular blend of motocross and supercross action that demands absolute precision and raw speed from every rider on the grid.
The headline-grabbing addition to this year's rider lineup is US supercross star Cooper Webb. The 30-year-old recently left a strong impression at the Motocross of Nations (MXoN), marking his competitive debut aboard a Husqvarna machine following a long tenure with Yamaha. Webb will not have an easy path to glory in Arsago, as he faces a formidable pack of European Grand Prix aces led by reigning MXGP champion Jeffrey Herlings, who is reportedly riding in the form of his life.
Herlings' teammate, Tom Vialle, is also set to tackle the Arsago track for the very first time in his career. Meanwhile, young Belgian talent Liam Everts arrives in Northern Italy riding high as a fresh winner from the recent Motocross of Nations. The host nation's hopes will rest heavily on Red Bull KTM factory rider Andrea Adamo, who looks ready to battle for top honors in front of his home fans.
The high-stakes entry list continues to grow with world championship regulars such as Jan Pancar, Alberto Forato, Maxime Grau, and French supercross specialist Killian Poll joining the fray. Swiss motorsport fans will also have plenty to cheer about with the confirmation of both Kevin Brumann and Arnaud Tonus for the high-profile event. The sheer depth of talent guarantees intense wheel-to-wheel combat throughout the entire weekend.
Aside from the traditional battles across the MX-Open, 125cc, and 85cc categories, the event will feature the thrilling 'Uno contro Uno' head-to-head showdown. This special knockout competition pits Open-class riders against each other in dramatic one-lap sprints designed to test pure speed and nerve under intense pressure.
