Christian Horner Teases Untold F1 Stories in Book

Christian Horner has suggested that his Formula 1 story has never been fully told after unveiling a new book titled Drive, which is scheduled for release in October 2026.

The book will chart Horner's F1 career, including his long spell with Red Bull. Its launch marks his latest public-facing move after he kept a relatively low profile following his exit from the team in July 2025.

Horner has made few public comments on F1 since leaving Red Bull. One of the appearances referenced in the material was a specially filmed segment for Netflix's Drive to Survive, which was used to wrap up his story after his departure.

From a sporting perspective, the book carries additional interest because Horner remains linked with a potential return to grand prix racing. The material states that he is known to be eager to return to F1, although in a more senior position than the team principal and CEO roles he held at Red Bull.

Horner's record at Red Bull gives that angle considerable weight. Across 405 races since Red Bull entered F1 in 2005, the team secured 124 wins, eight drivers' titles and six constructors' titles under his leadership.

Against that backdrop, Drive is set to become a key part of Horner's post-Red Bull phase. The book not only revisits one of F1's most successful team leadership spells, but also arrives while his next career direction remains a point of interest within the Formula 1 paddock.
