Christian Horner has insisted he is in no rush to take on a new role in Formula 1 after returning to the Silverstone paddock for the first time in 12 months.
Horner arrived at the circuit hours before the start of the British Grand Prix, marking his first F1 paddock appearance since leaving Red Bull. He was ousted as team principal just days after last year's Silverstone event.
After his Red Bull exit, Horner served a period of gardening leave. That phase has now ended, making him eligible to return to F1 if the right opportunity or project is offered.

"The great thing is that Formula 1 is in such a great place, and the racing's been super this year," Horner told Sky F1.
"Stepping back and watching it from behind the scenes, the interest in Formula 1 is sky-high," he said.
Horner has been linked with several projects since leaving Red Bull, including possible opportunities involving Aston Martin and Alpine. However, he made clear that he is not rushing to commit to his next move in F1.
"So there's so much interest from people who want to get involved in Formula 1. We'll see. I'm in no rush," Horner said.
Horner has also been linked to talks involving Chinese manufacturer BYD, which has reportedly explored a possible F1 entry as a 12th team. When asked about that possibility, Horner avoided giving a firm confirmation.
"BYD. Huge entity, huge, huge, huge company. But there has been so much speculation," Horner said.
"I think I've been [linked] to every team on the grid so far, so I'm just here to enjoy the racing," he added.
Horner's comments mean his Silverstone paddock return cannot yet be read as a direct signal of a confirmed new role. However, with his post-Red Bull restrictions now over, every Horner appearance is likely to remain a major talking point in F1's political and management landscape.
