An outstanding performance was delivered by Chaz Mostert at the Gold Coast event as he successfully secured his third consecutive victory at the venue. Starting behind pole-sitter Broc Feeney, the factory-backed driver made an immediate aggressive move on the first green flag lap to seize control of the race.
Following the Safety Car start, the Toyota Supra driver pulled away cleanly and remained completely untouchable by his nearest rivals. His immense pace allowed him to build a commanding lead of over 20 seconds by the checkered flag, showcasing a flawless masterclass in race management.
"It's a bit of deja vu, isn't it? Completely different weather. The car was amazing," Mostert said reflecting on his stellar run. "I was just trying to look after that tyre in that last stint, just didn't know if the rain was going to come down enough. Crew did an amazing job. Everything was faultless."

Meanwhile, David Reynolds clinched a brilliant second-place finish for Team 18. Starting deep down the order, he executed a bold early pit strategy to find clear air and ultimately climbed an impressive 12 positions through the field.
The battle for the final podium spots intensified after late penalties shook up the order. A post-race five-second penalty handed to Grove Racing's Matt Payne for excessive kerb usage ultimately shuffled the final standings after a fiercely contested afternoon.
