Peniscola is gearing up to welcome thousands of motorcyclists from across Europe once again. BMW Motorrad Days will hold its 22nd edition on 16-18 October 2026, and for the third consecutive year, the coastal town in Castellon will host the event. This is not just an exhibition; it's a community celebration that unites the passion for two wheels.
Last year, more than 10,000 people flooded the event area. That enthusiasm lays a strong foundation for this edition. Organizers promise a more intense experience: test riding motorcycles, exploring new routes, and hearing stories from those who have made riding an integral part of their lives. There's also space to meet fellow enthusiasts, chat casually about trips, mechanics, and riding techniques.
BMW F 450 GS: The Star Ready to Be Tested
One of the main attractions is the presence of the BMW F 450 GS. This model won't just be on display; it will be tested directly in the field. BMW is introducing the first-ever GS Camp, a riding technique training program with the F 450 GS in a controlled environment. Participants of all levels can hone their skills and feel the bike's character in the adventure segment.
Beyond GS Camp, the riding experience continues outside the venue. On-road and off-road routes through Peniscola and Sierra de Irta are prepared. Various other models from the BMW Motorrad lineup are also available for test rides, allowing every rider to find the bike that best suits their riding style.
From Prototypes to Limited Editions
The exhibition area is another magnet. Four special bikes will be on display: BMW Motorrad Vision K 18, BMW R 20 Concept, BMW R 1300 R “Titan”, and BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT. The Vision K 18 offers a grand tourer vision with a 1,800 cc six-cylinder engine, while the R 20 Concept brings the big boxer engine to a sharply styled roadster. The R 1300 R “Titan” features a dragster configuration, and the M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT symbolizes the most extreme racing challenge.
Not to be missed, the gear tent will showcase BMW Motorrad's latest helmet range, including the System 8. Visitors can consult directly with specialists to choose the right equipment.
Steve McLaughlin and Living History
The event also features a legendary figure: Steve McLaughlin, winner of the inaugural 1976 AMA Superbike race at Daytona with a BMW R 90 S. Half a century later, he will share stories and experiences, bridging different generations of riders.
With a combination of motorcycle test rides, off-road adventures, technology exhibitions, and inspiring stories, BMW Motorrad Days 2026 in Peniscola is more than just an annual agenda. It's a celebration of the riding spirit that will resonate for three full days.
